He has **** for suspension. Trust me, he babies it off the line big time. Car has no subframe connectors or anything. He runs slicks and thats it. His 60's were like 2.0-2.1etc. But like i said, havn't talked to him in a while, word around the camp fire is he's hittin 6's now but others say he doesnt. Hell i'd still take a 7.4 even if it is a bad time for that car. He's only runnin 5psi of boost so its no blown monster engine or anything. He built that motor with his old man in they're basement. Lugged the engine up to they're carport and assembled it there then dropped it in the car. Car looks like ****, fiberglass hood is all busted up around the edges. about 3 different colors of primer on it..lol....totally a budget build if there ever was one.

8.69 Last time to the track with a 1.9 60ft. Now I have control arms, subframe connectors, and a new clutch. Should hit close to a 8.60 next time around...

what do the near stock 5.0's run i mean these guys only had CAI's, intake manifold and a catback and 3.55's with street tires and they blew away my buddy with a 99GT with X pipe catback CAI and 3.73's

Maybe a 9.2-9.4 at most... You think a 9.0-9.2 is good?? Guy in the 99 must not know how to drive.

mine is a 1991 lx vert and i run a 9.7 and im stock other then underdrive pulleys and kenne bell ram air still have smog pump and air conditiong in the car

Hes an Auto, not too much skil involved there, but my best run was a 8.9 today but i have crappy tires and no suspension mods with a 2 inch drop so i belive i have room for improvement

your right not any skill with an auto but i start in low 1 and have to shift to drive then back to low 1 to catch 2nd but just like you said no skill on an auto

idk what u guys do in 5.0's but in new edge cars you dont go manually shifting the damn auto tranny. You pretty much put her in drive get staged, push down on the break , give a little gas until the wheels start to slip and when its time drop the break and punch the gas..... a monkey could do that......not too much skill but thats just my .02
