Default Pro 5.0 / Steeda Tri-ax Shifter??

I own a 94 5.0 Mustang GT Convertible
I'm getting a new shifter, either or Pro 5.0 or a Steeda Tri-ax
Opinions on which is better would be greatly appreciated

Between the 2, the tri-ax. Over the 2, MGW hands down!!

I just installed an MGW in mine yesturday, and dispite probably not having the shift stops set for the shortest throw, it is awesome. I'd go with the MGW.

I have had only three types of shifters: Stock, The Hurst short throw, & the Tri-Axe. The Hurst was good; but the Tri-Axe was & is currently my favorite......

Well the MGW is just the new shifter on the market. But unlike the triax and the pro 5.0, I heard nothing but excellent results from it so I had to pick one up myself. Ive had it on for a day and a half and it just is very nice. The installation was simple and if you want to adjust the shift stops well its all there and simple. Also, the design is very bulky and strong and the handle is very durable. You wont go wrong if you buy the MGW.

I think the nicest feature of the MGW is the fact that the shift handle rod can be adjusted 360 degrees so it can be mounted where ever you want. That is what sold me. The rest of the shifter is just a continuation from that feature. Heavy well made and shifts nicely!!!

With the MGW shifter do you retain the stock lower boot? Or does it come with a new one? Most delete the lower rubber boot thus letting in noise and heat.
