Default Weird batt problem

Well it started happening last night. When i hit about 3000 rpm, the battery light comes on. when i shift it goes away. BUT if i bring the rpms higher up to say about 3500 rpm it instantly stops getting power and everything shuts off. well i popped the hood to see if i should just jump it to get it home, and when i touched the battery terminal everthing powered back on. Well i wanted to test it so i did it again, and whacked the batt terminal with my cell phone and it powered back up. the battery leads are tight, so i dont understand.

Sounds like the small lead "line" that runs from the underside of the battery lug itself to the lead plates inside the battery has a break in it. This happens at times from excessive vibration\shock and \or over tightening the terminals. Borrow another battery from a friend to see if it happens.... Shouldn't take but 15 minutes or so to find out....
