Why would you need to two alternators? For like after market subs or something?

heres mine.I used the factory a/c bracket to make mine.

When you have a big stereo one alt wont cut it.I run 2 200 amp alts and its still not enough.Im just wondering what are you planing on doing with dual alts dearborn5.0?

Because even that setup will cause the notorious headlight dimming when bass hits. Caps will dimish it but it still puts a load on the ENTIRE electrical system becuae that cap has to recharge every time. Having a dedicated Alternator also helps to fight alternator whine.
