Tips for replacing brake booster...
Well well well, its me again and Im having a bit of a problem...
When I went to get my car runed the tuner had a hard time getting her to idle right, it kept surging, We figured it was the IAC and maybe a vacum leak. Found out my brake booster is leaking. When II press on the brake hard the car surges and somtimes dies which is a HUGE saftey issue.
Now whats the easiest way to change this thing out? I know its only 4 bolts in the back behind the dash, plus the linkage. Do I have to take the dash apart? Also do I need to bleed the brakes afterwards, Im thinking if its too bad ima just take it in.

i actually just did this in my car, if you can you shold take out your front seat for more room (trust me you will need it) you do not need to take the dash out to get to the four nuts but it is a tight fit, mine were on so tight that i soaked them in penetrater over night, once you get the nuts loose it's pretty easy.

Haven't done it on a fox but a lot of other cars. You may be able to unbolt the master w/o unbolting the lines and pull it forward enough to get the booster out. That way you don't have to bleed the brakes. Like I said, not sure but give it a try.
