Default Wanting aluminum heads, but which ones?

Alright, im gonna be stroking my 306 to a 347 this summer and im wanting to go ahead and buy me a set of aluminum heads. I want something thats gonna work good on the high RPM side. So how about some Vic jrs? Those are the ones im leaning torwards, they're not to exspensive and seem to flow pretty well. By the way im starting colledge this fall and wanting to buy a Novi 1000 and run only like 5psi, so...which ones will work with that? Im only wanting about 450-500hp.

seems like the Vic Jr.'s flow better than an AFR 185.

should be good to go. your blower will love those heads.

check out www.coasthigh.com ported Vic Jr.'s

Yea i like the Vic Jrs. It says they have 500+hp potential right out of the box. I dont know if thats exactly true or not, but thats what i read about them. I figured since im only wanting about 450-500hp ill just leave well enough alone and stick the pro charger on it, should put out about 450-500hp with the heads, trick flow intake and 5psi and a TFS stage II or III cam.

Anybody know about how much hp ill see over what i got now? I wanting to go from what i have in my sig, to having a 347 with Vic jr heads. Trick Flow Street heat intake, Trick Flow stage II or III cam (most likely II) and then run a Novi 1000 with 5 psi of boost. Im figuring i should be putting out around 450 to the wheels with that combo.

you should easily see 450 - 500 at the wheels with that.
