Default Rocker arms wiggle

Im reinstalling my rocker arms and push rods(all-stock) and after torqing the bolt the arm moves from side to side i dont know how to stop it, I think im missing something!lol, And to let u know its non-roller if that helps. Any suggestions or a quick walk-through. thanks guys

they should have slight play side to side not tons of movement.

Am i suppose to rotate the engine as i replace each set of rockers/pushrods??????

you want to adjust each rocker when that particular cylinder is on its fire rotation. i would assume that it is the same, anyways, i have roller rockers, not exactly sure of the differences of installation

Stock rockers? they should just bolt down, do u have the filcrum thing in there?

thats wut i thought just torque them to specs. yes they are stock and i have the fulcrum in

Did you put the rocker guides back in? Those are the u shapped things that bolt under 2 rockers, the bases fit inside them...keeps the rockers straight. Why did you have the rockers off? What did you change?

Yeah the rocker guide is in. I took them off to replace the head gaskets and i got my heads milled. Havent had much of a chance to work on it or i would have already got it figured out,i guess. this weekend for sure i'll have her running.
