Default couple questions new guy here

hey guys, I'm new to the forums, i don't own a mustang but i am doing some research for a friend. however i do like working on them and plan to learn a lot about them. my question is a buddy of mine just bought a 88 notchback with the 2.3 4 cyl. he wants to go with a carbed 302. now my question is if we were to grab a EFI 302, are there carbed manifolds to use with the heads on those motors. also what else would i need to do the v8 conversion in the the 4 cylinder notchback? is it as a simple as swapping the motor mounts from a v8 notchback? n e help you guys can offer me is greatly appreciated. thanks...Mike

i have heard a few guys doing the fuel injected 302s to carb, although i dont know the details on what exactly you would need to do the swap. If your gonna do it i would say either get new motor mounts or get em off a convertable. I have been told they are more sturdy.
