I used satin trim paint from Wurth on my quarter windows and it's held up fine for 2 years...

can i get a closeup pic of that maybe? cause i want to paint my trim around my window..... the trim around the quarter window.... the trim around the bottom that sits flat on the door/window... and maybe the trim around my back and front window if it will look good

how hard was it to take out your 1/4 panal windows because im getting my car repainted as i type and i am going to need to repaint those trims pices because they look like crap now and with the rest of my car all nice and stuff im gonna really need to repaint those, and how hard is it to do it?

All you have to do is take out the rear quarter interior panels and then take the nuts out that hold the windows in then with a putty knife or something similiar to break away the butyl that seal the windows and take them out.

if you do it on a hot day, it will almost push out. open the door, take one hand and hit the inside a little while holding the out side, ither the top or bottom will pop out first then u can pull on it a little and it will fall right out. Matt what kind of sealer should i use over my primer?

I couldn't tell ya...

We use a sealer hardener mixed with our primer and reducer.

Heck the primer you used may be a sealing type.

The primer is a self etching, from dupli color. I know they make a primer sealer. Maybe ill look to see if they make just a sealer. Also is sanding the primer with a 1k grit ok before painting?
