Default I HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION FOR YA??

i have heard this from tuners,and i guess i'm still not grasping this....but

how the hell do you adjust your injector pulse width?...

is this done by a piggy back system?...is this possible.


anybody know what this is please put your info down.

pulse width is how long the injector is open for.

this is controlled by the computer. a program like Tweecer should
be abel to adjust it for you.

I believe you can do it with a TwEECer.

So you're going to need that, or be a pro tuner with the software that burns chips for SCT, etc...

it would not be called pulse width, it would be pulse length. U need some kind of programmer to adjust it.

really??? i never heard someone call it that. width is in like how wide something is, length would be how long it last. so why would they call it pulse width

pulse width modulation. how frequently something turns on and off. heres an example. wheel speed sensors. the magnet that slides into the hub, and the reluctor wheel on the inside. as that reluctor wheel spins, the magent senses highs and lows. highs being a tooth on the wheel, and lows being a spot with no tooth. as the wheel spins faster it senses more highs and relates them to a stored value in the ROM in the ECM. so say the ECM senses 176 highs per second, it would look at the ROM and find out thats about 35 mph. injectors are basically the same except no magent, and i believe they're controlled in relation to engine RPM. I can get more detail if you want, but it would probably confuse both of us.
