Trick flow high ports are rocking good heads, better than the TW's.you need to build the motor as a combo, not just these heads, this cam, thoes pistons.

i wanted around a 10.5-11 comp....DSS said with TF top-end kit on the 331 pro bullet w/ flat tops itll be 10.4-1......for now itll be n/a....future im gon S/C it and really i wasnt gonna change much...maybe upgrade to 347 and jus use dss's max quench pistons and run low comp.

comp is to high for a good s/c set up. look into 8.2-8.5 comp pistons.

with flat pistons if u flat deck the block wich im sure they will, the heads will need to be about 60 cc combustion chamber and with your motor get about 190cc runners cuz anymore then that and it wouldnt do much since its for more of a 347 or 351w. and with those sizes u should be right around 10.4:1 or 10:1 just estimating, but u still need to pick your cam before u pick your heads otherwise u will order heads and the cam will have to high lift for those heads or something like that and u will run into complications

i called afr before i bought my victor jrs and even they told me the vics outflow the 185. they said the 205 were with the vics. vic 1250, afr 205=1500+. what more can i say.
ORIGINAL: r.barn

AFR -- best
Twisted wedge -- next
GT-40X --- after that

Edelbroke Vic Jr. are supposed to flow
better than AFR 185's, but AFR is the
standard everyone else is measured by

pick a cam before your heads?! no no no! pick your heads, get them flowed, then give the flow sheet, engine specs, car weight, intended purpose, etc. to your cam builder. you don't need an assembled valvetrain to get your heads flowed.
