all right before when i lost spark my msd box went bad i have sense bought a new one and drove about 300 miles well this box is not bad the light comes on but i have no spark i can't figure out why i'm using an msd pro billet dizzzy to trigger the 6 plus and have a blaster ss coil it's carbed but i don;t know what the hell is going wrong this is my weekend worrier and i wan't to drive it this weekend.

a lot of people have problems with the MSD dizzys. put ur stocker back in.

i don't have the stocker i have a single point one and those suck. i just don't want to be wasting money on stuff i don't know need what other brands are good

no clue. people keep telling me the stocker is better than most aftermarket ones.

all righty thanks for the help i got to get it working right so i don't get strained some ware or worse yet loose a race aginst a ricer beacuse it breaks down lol

yep i hear ya, you could go to the junk yard and get a stock dizzy for 25 bones prolly. if thats not the problem u did not spend to much trying.

This is kinda a side note but my brother works in retail at summit racing and he said that a lot of people bring back msd ignitions saying they're bad. They really did go bad but the reason for them failing is because of improper placement. He took a class that summit and msd provided and the instructors said that MSD ignitions belong in a cool place that is away from heat (That means not in the engine bay!). Even though the wires aren't long enough, you might wanna think about extending them and putting ur msd in the interior of ur car. It will make ur Ignition last a lot longer.

I've heard alot of die hard MSD guys switching to the Crane Hi-6.... For some reason the MSD's keep going bad... Most of the guys I know mount them under the dash, not in the engine bay, so I don't know what the problem is....

Yeah you want to keep it out of the heat. A lot of people also put them in place of the battery. You can do that and put some sort of heat shield around it. Sorry to hear about the problem.
