Default Constant ticking

Ok, so got the stang to cool down this weekend after the t-stat swap, got a new problem. I was getting a ticking when i left the car running when i was testing the new tstat, but when i went to drive it i found that the ticking is only when the clutch is out all the way. The ticking gets more persistent, i.e., faster, the faster i go. Anyone have any ideas?? sounds like a bearing of some kind.

Could be a worn pressure plate on you clutch. When it spins and your clutch is out, the little spring arms are hitting your though out bearing, then when you push the clutch in, it puts the though out bearing in contact with the arms, causing the noise to stop. Sounds like a good possibility to me.

clutch has less than 1000 mi on it. I am gonna start digging into it this weekend. The prev owner said that a mechanic told him it was the throttle bearing... im pretty sure he meant the throwout bearing. Hopefully it just needs to be adjust, perhaps the cable stretched after the mechanic did the swap?
