it's worth it to get the new clutches in there while they have it torn apart for the gears. and after the install head for the nearest parking lot and teach yourself how to do a donut

for me i have only had auto rwd cars, all my sticks were fwd.[&o]
I always just held the brake down in an empty parking lot and slammed the gas just like launching just with the wheel turned.

I'm also a newb. I do the same thing with my manual, just put it in first, turn the wheel, and dump the clutch

Works perfectly(only tried twice)

i think the thing with doing donuts is practicing doing figure 8s and such in order to gain more understanding as to how to keep control of your car whichever way you may lose grip. Just make sure you do it in an area with plenty of rro... wouldnt want an accident.
