bottom end go out?

Default bottom end go out?

alright, i have 180k easy miles on my car, and this guy i work with told me that if i put new heads on that my bottom end would go out. true or not?

No, it'll be fine. I would NOT recommend Nitrous or Supercharger w/ that many miles.

im not going to go as far as to say it will be fine, it mght burn a lil more oil. but other than that it should be ok. remember if you do that. new timing chain, timing cover seal, front cover seal, head gaskets of corse and intake gaskets.

what could i do to the bottom end so it will definetly be fine and still burn no oil?

I just seems to me that if you want to put heads on your car, you want to go faster right? So you will probably beat on it more....It will probably be alright if you don't have any issues right now and keep driving the same way. I won't necessarily think that you would burn more oil either. If it goes bad, a rebuild isn't to expensive and is possibaly in your future anyway, so on to bigger and better, right? I would also for sure use new head bolts along with the other parts listed above. I would just go for it.
