Default Engine sitting too low

My engine sits low. I think it is because the previous owner took it to the strip and ripped it a lot. Anyway has anyone else has this problem? If so what is the easiest way to correst it? I see the mounts and the mounting bolts are at the bottom of the K slots. I guess it slid down??? Also I think the tranny bracket is stripped or loose I hear it or something around there rattle when shifting gears.

How can I lift the engine a little? Can I do it with a jack? Or do I need to do it with a hoist?

Any input is appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.

How can I lift the engine a little?
Easy; new motor & transmission mounts. Poly units from Competitiion Engineering are good.

I went w/ Prothane and the motor mounts were only $90 from Dallas Mustang. $25 for tranny mount. You'll need to jack or lift the engine. One side at a time if you're using a jack and just swap them out. I'd use loctite on the bolts. Same w/ the tranny...put a jack under the tailhousing and remove the crossmember and bolts, use loctite.

Tim's right. I have the Comp. Engineering units in my car as well. They have taken the abuse I give them & basically laugh about it..... Great stuff.

^^^You mean Energy Suspension? I'd like to know what the difference is b/c I've seen both. Both look the same and both are polyurethane....just 2 different companies.
