Default am i going to have problems?

i'm doing a 2.3L 4 cyl conversion to a 5.0 on my 89 project and i wanted to know if i can keep that same back end in or am i gonna have to drop it? I'm thinking it may hold... and if it drops... it drops! i just have to search around on ebay for a new one. However, i'm not experienced in these matters- what do the experts have to say about this?

From friends(not personal experience); you better drive like an old lady with bad eyesight.....

By the way; I drive a former 4-banger auto I converted to 5.0 stick.... I didn't even think for a moment about trying to use a the 7.5....
