+1 I would never do 4.10 on a DD I have 3.73 on mine but thats just what it came with. They are almost to much. If I had to redo I might do 3.55. It would be a tough choice.

Everyone that postes above either have never been in a car w/ 4.10's or 4.30's or they are just a straight *****....4.10's arent too much for a daily driver(unless your a *****)....I drove for over a year in a 5-speed daily driver full bolt-ons and 4.10's.....unless your going FI, or your a ***** and dont like going fast, then 3.55's are the gear for, or hell if your thats much of a ***** then just leave stock gears in...oviously you guy dont like going fast.... 3.55's arent enough gear...I have 3.55 now, they ARENT ENOUGH GEAT,
What the problem is, is that you guys on here are dumb about gears and follow the old trends of running 3.73s sure they are a ok gear but I can tell you from experience,me and my buddy have almost identical cars, except he has 3.73s, almost every race I pulled on him by atleast 2-cars...If you run 4.10's and its too much gear...then run a taller tire...it will make 4.10's feel like 3.73's, that way you still have options available for the future. now see if you go with 3.55's then what, you cant go any smaller in tire to make up for the gear...Oh and if you have stock tires or 60's series tires, your "badass" 3.55 gear are now the ratio of about 3.27...wow you just waisted your money because you now have to spend another 350 to get a 4.10's or 3.73's....I wouldnt want to keep my options limited...just do your self the favor and do it right the first time...you thank me down the road, when your buddy has to change to 4.10's cause 3.55's werent enough...Ive seen i happen to my friends...all I can say is i told you...it was sad to see both of my friends have to spend another 350 to get the right gears installed...4:10's....need I say more

well youre right about the 3:55 IMO. i had them awhile and when i changed to 373 it felt like changing from stock gears. but 4:10 is too high for some people. its all about where your at in fourth gear when you go thru the traps. you dont wanna have to hit 5th gear.

is your car hard to drive now? what will it change, theres nothing hard about driving. Sense I have both 3.55's and 4.10's I can say from experience, the only difference between 3.55's and 4.10s is with 4.10, youll shift a little quicker and 1st is alittle shorter, meaning I normally shift a 2200 rpm for cursing, but with 4.10's to make it seem like it take the same tiime to shift as 3.55s I have to shift a t a higher rpm at 2300-2400. so it take the same time to shift, but 1st is alittle shorter, it hard to explain in typing, if you think about it 4.10's are only 300 rpm higher than 3.55's meaning I curise at 1500, with 4.10s you would curise at 1700-1800,

you want a gear that will take you thru the 1/4 about 500rpm below redline in fourth. 3:73 will do that for me. 4:10 might if mine was stock. if youre gonna mod it go 3:73. you dont wanna have to hit 5th gear before you get thru the 1/4
