Did you try the TPS? Imtelling ya I had the same problem.

but your problem said that it started. mines doenst start! and when i drive its fine .. runs good. so i dont believe its the TPS and if it was the CEL would most likeyl pop up.

My buddys car has the same problem, and so does mine sometimes. With him it was the starter overheating, And my problem I think was the solenoid..

If you're getting sprak and it's still cranking, then you're missing one key item, fuel.

I bet your fuel pump is getting hot and failing.

Even though the whole dieing when hot thing suggests a TFI problem, yet you're still getting spark...so who knows..

Yea it would start after I unplugged the TPS???

Have you tried it yet? Dont spend any more money until you try this.

wellill try that after school tomorrow and see what happens.. but like i said i jsut replaced the fuel pump, and ican hear it click on and off wheni turn the key on.. i thought the fuel pump was weak, but i turned the key on and off like 10 times to get some more fuel but nope. and hwy would my fuel pump overheat?

Try it when it wont start. Probaly when you get home.
