Remember that 91' notch for $2750
Yeah so I went and took a peak at the car. HAHA, no wonder it was worth his asking $3000. After I took a look at it man was I suprised. First things to notice to last: Saw that there was a bullet whole in the driver door, left back tire was low, look under the car... oil (said it was filter, don't think so), while under I notice I see the gear of the tranny (not sure what to call it), open the hood notice that the engine is sitting low so inspect motor mounts (chewed up), added things together wondering why he had an electric fan (probably because it was at such a slant to the fan shroud only way to make it work without replacing the engine mounts), had plastic bag and packaging tape to the fender from the MAFs, interior was 5 of 10 (bullet whole went through whole door so interior too.) It was a mess, I said lowest I would ever think about was $2000, he said he just had someone offer $2400, I said he should have taken it. Only plus I saw was that there was msd wires and cap. Oh and it sounded alright, but I think the car was torquey to due to the motor mounts.

Ohh the best part is (actually worse) his kid was riding a friggin razor scooter and rubbed up against my car and scratched it a bit, I might be able to get the detail shop at BMW to get it out for me, but yeah was I pissed. He said he bought it that way. After I was done punching the numbers at him, I told him the reason why there probably is an electric fan is because the old fan probably rubbed the shroud so he got an electric one, then I came up with the nerve to ask him how much he paid. He said something like $2500 or so.
