When I rev in (N/P) I hear something

When I go to start my car up and rev it past 3000, I hear kind of a clingy sound, around the headers I presume, possibly in the engine(hope not). It is only sometimes but sounds really bad wasn't sure if it was the metal expanding, headers only got 500 on them so maybe that is it??? Anyways I will get a sounds clip of it.

Sound clip wil help lots. Make sure the headers arnt just hitting the shock towers. As my engine cams over, the header taps up against the shock tower. When i first heard it i thought it was a loose rocker or somthing. I i went back through and adjusted my rockers when i noticed the header touching the shock tower. Hit the header with a hammer a lil bit and tada, no more rattles.

^^ yea he's right, after about 500-600 miles you should re-torque your header bolts. I even re-did mine at 1000 miles to to make sure. Exhaust leaks will piss you off. Your car will sound like an old sewing machine..lol

Well I guess it is a shot, when I am hearing these sounds is when the tranny isn't engaged and when I am not moving. I just hope it is nothing engine worthy. Ill definately try to get a sound clip, but then again I don't wish to intentionally hear it.
