people always say this, but my car only has traction problems in first, so how could slicks and suspension significantly help me?

have u ever ran a cheater slick on ur car? or a dot legal drag tire? u will not spin with the tires hot and a stock motor.

yea, instead of spinning youre slipping yur stock clutch or stripping the axles and u joints out

Im just saying. My car right now, could run easily high to mid 13's. With suspension, and slicks, low 12's is no question.

depending on where the guy lives (elevation~temperature) what track he goes too (conditions~ actual lenght) his driving skills combined with maybe getting a factory freak ....etc etc etc.... a 14.5 in a stock vert isn't that far fetched, i haven't seen anyone do it here personaly, but i wouldn't call it impossible at all. now the 14.1 is a whole other story, like stated above i just can't see it happening with just the accessories removed....maybe something like a 14.3 i'd be willing to consider, but a 14.1 ? ...i really don't think so, but that's just my opinion, doesn't mean i'm right about it.

thats what im saying too that would put a stock gt door to door with a stock 96-98 cobra. hard to swallow

really ? don't know that much about the 4.6 but i would've thought having 305hp would at least put them in the high 13s ?
