Default Idler Tension Pulley

I am in the middle of doing my pulleys on my 94, but I can't release the tensioner which is a little different than the fox body 5.0s.
The directions say "use sqaure on tensioner arm to release tension" - I can find the box but I can't do anything with it... there is no button or anything I don't think inside, if feels solid back there. Anyone know how to release the tension and put it back?
Thanks...

I got the belt back on but I'm worried the waterpump and idler pulley are too close, theres about 2 or 3 mm clearance. I started the car and the belt doesn't seem to be rubbing, but will it or is that too dangerous?

Ok, well I got that... But is the clearance issue a problem or is it normal to have that small amount of room between the water pump and idler (94 cobra)

you should have about 2 inches between them.
there is a wear marker at the top of the tensioner it only lets the tensioner travel so close and the it will start tapping .
