Medium to Dark Silver (gun metal) with a lower (below the molding) flat black. Call me crazy, but I think it would retain the 80's look. Maybe it's just me, but those are my plans. !!!

To go black all the metalwork has to be flawless.
I'd go with Budwieser Red as it's a little more forgiving........
