Get the last kit, it is better to rebuild the wholething and not have any worries later on, thats what i did with my 94 gt i did it all myself and then had a expert check it for 100 bucks and it was little off, but i got the piece of mind knowing everything is brand new even if it was a ton of work.Plus for every new bearing you get you need the new race for it because of the wear patterns in the old ones.

im in the middle of rebuilding my rearend aswell, if u want u can redo your stock carrier, all you need is a set of clutches, and check your spider gears as well, then buy something like a Precision Gear master installation kit, comes with everything you need.

I bought Brand new Precision Gear 3.73, Precision Gear Master installation kit, MAC Girdle, and a FRPP 28 spline T-lock carrier...now everything is brand new!

does #3 come with clutchs? are the shims just a different word for clutch? or do i need to separately buy the clutchs? also, will the clutches fix my one wheel burnout problem?
