Default thinking about going from aod to t-5

As my car approaches 140,000k i figure it's only a matter of time until the aod goes out.

third to overdrive is slipping already....[]

I have read a few articles on converting, and it doesn't seem that hard. It might take one or two days.

My question is: are there any complete conversion kits out there? i searched but i couldn't come up with anything but kits for early mustangs...

thank ya

keep an eye on ebay... Often there are guys whom sell a complete "kit" of used trans, pedal, assy, etc. Jeremy(v8only) over at www.foureyedpride.com puts them together from time to time.... you might PM him(he's a friend, impecciable reputation on that forum & on ebay). Good luck!

Get yourself a firewall adjuster while your doing it. . They are pricless in my opinion. One of the best mods ive done. Makes it a breeze to adjust the engaging point of your clutch. And go ahead and put in in while yous dash is out because they are a SOB to put in. The quadrant part..
