Default aod to t5

i am switching my 92 aod to a t5. I am wondering if the redline will be the same or if it will change do to the different gearing?

the redline is based on the motor only, it has nothing to do with what's behind it! the gears in the rear and tranny just determine how fast you get to the redline in each gear, the lower the gear, the faster you will wind it out to redline. if you want to increase the redline, you need to work on the valve train to stabilize and stiffen it to prevent valve float which is what the redline is all about.
