dont get me wrong, I am hella happy about it, but was expecting more from the AFR heads.
I wonder if it would have made better power with the 165 heads?
those #'s arent bad, maybe a tad low, but the 165's might actually be better for your set up
the 185's might be a little too big

guy's look if you have 306 cubic inches.it gets really hard to make hp>than cubes..n/a.

he's making atleast 380 hp to the motor so he's doing pretty damn good in that aspect.

thoes numbers would put you way past any late model camaro or ta, even a 281 s/c saleen. the proud dude.

Your combo sounds good too me. I made 321rwhp & 309rwth with the following:
RPMII intake
70mm TB
Pro M 75mm
AFR165 emissions heads
1.6 RR's
custom (emissions compliant)cam(.510\.515, 114LSA)
stock rebearinged & reringed shortblock
shorty headers
x-pipe without cats
cat back
power pullies
no air
T5Z
Diablo Revolution chip burned on the dyno(very safe tune).

As previously mentioned; a custom cam & tune will get 'cha even more....IMHO
