I wholeheartedly agree.
If you want to put the car up on jackstands(so the suspension does not begin to sag), drain the fuel to avoid sludge buildup in the tank, fill the car with desicant, put it in a temperature controlled garage, wrap it entirely, & just look at it fondly over the course of 20+ years; you'll get a nice profit out of it. If it was me? I'd drive it, enjoy it, modify it to my liking, & not care one bit about what it'll eventually sell for.....IMHO

Maybe in 10 or 20 years your car will be very desirable. But selling your car right now because KBB says it's value is going down right now is ridiculous

what KBB says a car is worth, and what a collector will give you, are two different things
kbb priced my fathers 96 mystic cobra at $8500.... now My father talked to someone at SVT... With all the paperwork for the vehicle... and it having 33k miles on it... a collector would be willing to buy it for $20,000-$25,000
see what im getting at?

maybe there were 1999 of them made... but i know for a fact that there arent that many left... i saw 2 of them totalled myself.

cant go by kbb my car in there is about 900 bucks but since its an 84 1/2 20th anniversary GT350 one of 1500 it goes on ebay from what i have seen for 10k sometimes in not that great condition. one car i would love to get my hands on is an 84 GT302 prediter. some rediculously low number of them made they are high on the top rarest mustangs list
