Default computer question.......

if i was to take out my 94 gt computer and just swap it with a 94 cobra computer would it fit? I'm guessing since my engine is fairly close to that of a 94 cobra it would run a lot better.

JBA performance in San Diego is going to custom tune it for me with their dyno so I'm just going to go with that now. Although, i don't know if the tune will fix the random idle surge problem, and the fact that it wont start when hot. What i dont understand is i had the fuel system checked out and it seems to be all fine, and the computer doesnt bring up any codes for the issue. I'm guessing one of the heat sensors that determines whether to give the car fuel is bad but i dont know which one.

a cobra computer uses a different fuel/timing table..

if there was no diff in a 94 gt or a 94cobra..then they would have used the same computer...

i have heard two stories...the mass air meter cal. to 24's tells the computer what's going on,and i have been told

no matter what the computer still thinks it has 19lb's.
