Default O2 and MAF Sensors

Alrighty, well I figure its about time i changed my cars O2 and MAF Sensor, I was just woundering if I should do anything special while replaceing them, in my Chilton's Mustang Manual it actualy doesn't tell me how to replace them but just to test them for some reason.

never heard of replacing the MAF sensor just to be replacing it. most people replace it with a bigger one for more air flow though. the O2 sensors are replaced much more often and the only thing I would do is put some anti-seize lubricant on the threads so they will come out easier the next time you have the urge to change them. they really shouldn't need changing all that often. mine have over 108,000 miles on them and they still work fine as far as I can tell. if it ain't broke, don't fix it! save the money for some other performance improvement.

Clean your maf with carb cleaner maybe. 02 sensors are smart with an engine w/a lot of miles they burn out.
