Default RWHP?

is there any way of figuring out how much RWHP without the dyno. is it like 15 - 20% diffrence form the motor or am i way off? just curious.

like tim said the dyno will be the most accurate. if you want an est. use this, 15% loss thru a 5-speed, 25% thru an auto. it may not be accurate, but i know a LOT of mech's that use it as a rule of thumb.

depends on miles and such, the more wear and tear on the engine/tranny/rear diff the worse the numbers get.

typically a stock gt will be around 185-195 rwhp. cobras are 195-205ish

these are ofcourse just estimates.. climate and engine condition do apply, and can skew the results
