hey guys, i have a 1995 mustang GT, i bought 18x9 Saleens for it, im now looking for rubber and have found a set for a reasonable price...my question is..will the sizes work for my wheels...the fronts are 245/40ZR18 and the rears are 285/35ZR18. will i have any rubbing issue and will the back stick out past the fender..i hope not! if anyone has a 94-98 mustang with these tire dimesions, can u post a pic so i can see if i like the stance..

you bought the rims before checking out all the clearances first??? Kinda backwards but if it works! You need to check the backspacing or offset as it's also called. Depending on what the settings are, go to a tire shop and let them tell you what sizes will or won't work.

tire wise you wont have any issues. your front tires are approximately 25.7" and the rears are 25.8" Im running 275/40/17s on my rear right now and they fit with MORE then enough room.. im actually going to be upsizing to 315/35/17 for the rear

as far as the wheels go. if they are REAL saleen wheels.. they will fit fine

You shouldnt have a problem with the Saleen wheels on your 95 GT at all. That front tire size will fit, but the sidewall is going to be stretched which will make it a bit difficult to get seated on the wheel. I would recommend a 275/35r18 for the front and you could go a bit wider for the rear. I have 17x10.5s on the rear of my car and i still have more room to wider wheels wise, but max would be a 335 tire to fit without major exhaust work and fender modding.

I bought the same rims, 18x9 in the front and 18x10 for the back .I love them . Kuhmo make a great tire. As far as rubbing goes mine did until i cut about 4 inchs of plastic on the inside of the fender. hope this helps...
