ive got a 94 Cobra and i was just wondering how fast 4th gear would go if i were to install 4.10's

about 102mph at 5500rpms. whats your tire size and 4th gear ratio (1.00?) and ill tell you for sure

tire size is 245/45/17, not sure about the 4th gear ratio, whatever it is stock i guess

i guessed your tires right on the money heh. yea then its around 102-103 mph at 5500rpms

i still dont know if i should go with 373s or 410s

that is exactly what i am debating.... some people say dont go past 373s with a 5 spd but it seems that everyone with 410s really likes them and for me gas milage and highway driving isnt' an issue cuz i have 2 cars

if its not an issue, and you dont plan on using a power adder.... then go for it.... but in your quest to make a mean mustang... try not to go over 350hp, or you will be redlining at the drag strip

yea i dont drive much on the highway either, but i also dont want to have to shift into 5th when im trapping in the 1/4 mile. my front tires are almost shot but my rears are brand new. i could go with the 410s, replace the front tires with taller drag radials, then switch the front and back wheels

did you do the 1/4 yet? if you did what gears do you have now and what was your trap speed, time, and rpms if you remember
