no prob dude, i figured ya did. yeah its a 5L. I got a mac style intake off ebay and use the 75mm MAF w/ it and it works great, shows nice too. My suggestion is this, if you're going with forced induction go with a 75mm TB, if not ive been told the stock Cobra intake is ported for a 70mm TB, which id do if you're going to do a head/cam/intake combo, otherwise a 65mm would probably be satisfactory. Any other questions feel free to shoot me a PM any time.

thanks for the info. maybe a s-trim down the line, not for a while. it does feel like it can't breathe when i'm on it. what kind of maf did you use? could you tell a difference? i was thinking i could reuse the k&n with a c&l inlet pipe, 75mm maf and a 65 or 70mm throttle body. think i would have any noticable gains?

You'd be just fine w/ the K&N and the C&L kit. Just be sure your air silencer is removed. Also, go w/ a 65mm TB for now. You don't need anything bigger than that until you're more heavily modded. You should notice pretty decent gains from all that together.

I would get it running and take it to a brake shop and have the ENTIRE system flushed, refilled.
Brake fluid absorbs moisture from the air and I know dallas has plenty of that....

did'nt think about the brakes. sounds like a great idea thanks tinman. 65mm TB probably the way to go. i don't think c&L will sell me the kit without the k&n (already have one). i'll need to look for a mass air meter and tube. anybody know about these EGR plates, throttle body spacers and/or intake plenums? thanks everyone.

Car looks nice. I was gonna say get some 96 brake lights on there but it already has them. Carful with the 2 screen names it is against the rules here.
