Default Smog Pump Removal

What's the deal with that bracket that takes the place of the smog pump? Is it worth it? What do you do witheverything that's connected to it? What effect does it have on the electronics?
While I was busy breaking my #$%#%#$ heater core, I also busted a couple of those p.o.s. plastic vacuum lines that go to the smog pump hoses and tha 4-line vacuum connector thingy. One line went to the throttle body, the other went to the upper smog pump hose.

Default RE: Smog Pump Removal

when I removed mine I just got a shorter belt to make up for the loss of the pump. I also removed the hoses, etc. from the pump and used the almost 180 bent hose to reconnect the small pipe from behind the heads back to the pipe running down to the H-pipe so the hot air blowing out pipe got directed back down into the exhaust. plug or remove the unneeded vacuum lines.
