Header install. 50% done
So I recently received my ceramic coated headers from summit and today was the day I attempted to install it (by myself). I started with the driver's side because it has more clearace. To sum up, 3 hours later I finally had one side on! lol.
any tips on putting the passenger side on?

yeah, if its anything like my engine bay you'll want to remove this mess of hoses from the pass side, helps clear things up nicely. Also im not sure how the clearance is on the fox but on mine the pass side came out the top no problem.

You probably best removing those hoses (think they are from the smog pump). You need to loosen those hose clamps and disconnect the "y" piece. From there it is all maneuvering it in. The one problem I had putting the new headers on was getting the last bolt (closest one to the firewall) on, running 7 bolts on passenger.

best way to do it. get under the car and take the nuts off the header. then take the intake tube off. take the smog hoses off, get a 9/16 wrench and start turning. p.s. good luck with the last one and a standard length wrench.

yeah no joke, you better go buy a racheting wrench..and a really long racheting wrench. i dunno about on these cars but i've always installed headers fron under the car, with 2 people. one under, putting the header up to the engine, and one above to help guide it and to start bolts. never seemed to have too many problems that way.

i have all kinds of adapters, from fat to thin. i have wrenches, wratches and pneumatic whathave you. the only thing that gave me problems was aligning the header with the block by myself, but i've got it down now. the driver's side dip stick was in the way of everything, i wasn't sure how to bypass it, but i managed
