Hot start issue and more...
Forgive me, I'm new.
Just got my first EFI V-8, a 94 GT with AODE, 120,000 miles, previous owner was young and dumb but the car survived in decent condition.
Known mods are MAC headers and non stock pulleys.
Issue: When cold the engine starts and runs fine. When driving in O/D at light throttle, slight load, I get a miss from time to time. Otherwise it seems to run strong.
When shut down hot, will not restart unless the throttle is cracked open a bit, and then will die when throttle is released. If I don't shut the engine off when hot it idles fine. After a restart I head straight for the house. The next day it will start and idle just fine.
Also, I'm aware of the shortcomings of the 94-95 EEC. I ultimately wish to go through my engine/tranny and do the basic head, cam and intake upgrade.
Where do I send my computer to to get it reprogrammed correctly?
Thanks
