is the little wire in your maf still there. and if noyhing else the iac could be bad.

IAC.... possibly Mass Air Flow meter
Sometimes cleanning the IAC doesn't work, but that is the classic symptoms of the IAC going bad.

both of the little wires were there and I just sprayed them with some electrical cleaner. (great shat) What do you think about the header leak?

Possible if the problem was in open loop (cold start up). You did say that the problem happens no matter if it's hot or cold right?
exaust leaks do cause idle problems in computer control cars, but not so much in a mass air enviorment in closed loop.
How bad is the header leak? Is it just a little or did it completly blow the gasket out of the header flange?

I dont think its that bad but I havent inspected yet. I need to replace it anyway.
