Radiator suggestions? edit, just bought rad and fan, nvr mind. :)
My radiator is in need of replacement, and right away. I'm intending to upgrade to something under $300, has to be all metal, and for an auto. Any suggestions? I was preferring a three row, there's a two row aluminum rad on Summit racing for about $250, a three row Modine one on Mustangs Unlimited for $200, and a 3 row Ford rad for $200 (isn't this part plastic?) on Mustangs Unlimited. How do these look, any other suggestions? Also any suggestions on what fan to use? The original one is cracking, I want to replace it with another mechanical one.
2 row summit rad
3 row Modine
FRPP 3 row

RE: Radiator suggestions?
i would go with the 2 row summit rad because it looks like it is all welded. The one from unlimited the cooler for the automatic trans. is epoxyed on. I just replaced mine but i have a 5 speed and it works great I got it from ebay I paid $223 shipped. See pic

RE: Radiator suggestions?
Yea, it has to be all metal, and preferebly welded, construction. That's one thing that was leaning me towards the Summit rad. Getting rattled around in this car and everything it would prolly otherwise come apart, and rads with plastic parts make no sense to me at all. I've seen descritions saying the FRPP rad is part plastic, is this true?

Bump. Hurry, I have to decide now! lol. I'm leaning towards the Modine one cause it's 3 row and I trust Modine, and it's $50 les than the Summit one, but I'm leaning to the Summit one too cause it's all welded and nice and shiny aluminum.

Aw crap, I was gonna order the Modine one cause it was $50 less than the Summit one and the retailer also had oe replacement fans, but their website went down. Now I'm going to order the Summit rad, but Summit doesn't have the oe mustang fan, is the stainless steel bladed Flex a lite fan any good? I always preferred metal to plastic anyways.

RE: Radiator suggestions?
Yup, got reverse rotation fan. Summit Racing had two metal flex-a-lite fans listed, I need everything as soon as possible, so I just ordered the stainless bladed flex-a-lite and their two row rad. thanks for the suggestions everyone
