You don't need high temp paint for the valve covers, they don't get that hot, regular paint will do just fine. Paint them however you want with whatever you want. I used autobody primer/paint and wet sanded then cleared them.

I always liked the squared off fabricated aluminum ones, or the black powdercoated cobra's but for the money and considering with an EFI manifold most of the cover is blocked from veiw anyways I just sanded and painted mine silver for now.

All you have to do is cut a groove on the inside of the valve cover where the rockers are hitting.

no you must remove the upper intake. you can get the passenger side by removing the TB but you might as wells keep it on the intake, the intake has 6 bolts that are easy to do, just remember the two under the plenum cover
