I have 3:90's in my 94 GT Not much for first gear but the car runs great.

Automatic.... 4.10's without a doubt.. especially since you have a vert! If its not a DD I would actually go bigger IMO.

Its all personal opinion. I personally would go with 4.10's no matter 5spd or auto but some people like the highway cruising at low rpm's, etc.

to answer all......i like 4.10's for for everything.

i have a 5-speed right now, and my second combo w/ 5-speed and 4.10's

i had 2 aod's w/ 3.73's and they sucked bad. one was an lx 'vert, the other a gt

w/ aod's , 4.10's are a MUST !!!!

no need to shift to 5th, you'll go through the traps at about 5200 , don't trust the stock (very innacurate) tach

my shift lite would lite up right as i went through the traps w/ a 5200 chip in it.

and to give you an idea...my '89 notch 5-speed w/ only 4.10's , et streets, and southsides went 13.20 NA and 12.50 on a 75 shot.

full weight car, but manual locks, windows etc...it weighed about 3250 w/ me init and a 1/4 tank.

i'm expecting this car to run about 2-3 tenths slower.

anyways, i'll have numbers on and off the juice by the end of the month, hopefully next weekend.
