The firewall strap should connect from the firewall to the back of the engine.

Yeah or the bellhousing? Right, Where on the back of the engine is there a place to pu tit?

just to make me happy. take a volt meter and check what voltage your battery is sitting at and post it on here.

Nothing after strap, I am all shower for the night, I will go tomorow moring and check the meter for you and post it up. G night all!
