Not if you have the power to turn them... I agree a 325 on a stock Fox is bad.... But if you are running 10's and can hook on the street too, more power to ya... He would blow the tires off the car with the 275's at 50mph if he punched it...

tall is what u want. no more than a 10.5 wide is needed. when u get to wide the tire will not plant. like u said 50mph and drop it and the tires will spinn.

the tires i have are great on top end speed and hitting the gears on the roll.......i just think i need a little more meat or stickier tire to grab from the start or from a 20 punch. I know the 3.55 gears don't help...i'm pushing 420 rwhp....so when the s trim kicks in all that torque makes it hard to stay striaght

The only reason a taller tire will help traction is because you lose some gear, and you have more sidewall flex... He had 275/60's and put 325/50's so the sidewalls are close to being the same height, but he has alot more meat on the ground now... It would spin from a 50mph roll with the 275's, now with the 325's he can almost dead hook on the street which is a big accomplishment for a 10 second ride....

Here is an 8 second pass, on pump gas, with 325/50's.... I guess he only needs a 10.5 tire too?
