I think weight and a cleaner engine bay are probably the greatest gains.

I definitly felt a small difference when I took mine off. It definitly made installing my headers much easier. The driver side is now my PITA side.

how the hell do you pass smog when you take out the smog pump? You need serious connections, don't you? Especially in the ****-state (California, my home).

The belt is the ****...Look wha the belt did to my smog pump, This was in Feb, and i still have the same belt on with no problems...

So are you saying if you decide to take it off, Get the delete kit or dont do it period? Ive been thinking about it....

you dont need a delete kit. take off the pump. use 3/4" vacuum caps to plug the h pipe and the fitting that goes to the heads. buy a 84.5" belt. your done.

what size belt would you need if you removed the smog pump, removed the ac and moved the powersteering up to the spot the ac was in? i have the ford kit coming in the mail right now.

my car didnt come with an h pipe..do u know where else it might be? it only has the one in the heads wich is already plugged.
