I disagree, a slightly modded TSi could walk all over him. no way an ESi would beat you tho, unless he was running a serious power adder..

I was talking about the car the original poster was talking about. He said it only has cold air intake. With his mods he would smash any talon model that ONLY had a cold air intake.

My old notchback which ran mint and was a mint car ran 15.4 witha **** 60 FT time. I'd say in the 15.0 range any way.
I had a cai, Off road H, Flo's, TB spacer and everything else was stock, oh yeah and I had a cool sticker in the back window

and the SN95 is a good deal heavier, i think a TSi could run with him with a good driver

i remember a few years ago my buddy was racing a GSX AWD eclipse with a front mount, exhaust, and boost controller @ 14PSI. The 5.0 had basic bolt ons and from a dig the GSX was gone everytime. He even gave us a 5 car head start in the mustang and he still passed us early in 2nd... but everytime we'd hit about 70 we'd pull and pass him. The AWD turbo cars are tricky but with the right knowledge and equipment they can be destroyed and better yet humiliated infront of all their hona and EVO friends for losing to an old pushrod domestic.

Well, I'll race him sometime next week at the track. I hope I dont get embarassed at the launch. Damn, those 2.73's aren't helping me very much. I'm guessing my stang will do mid to high 15, just cuz im not much of a good driver, but i'll try. So how do you guys thing I should launch. keep the brake all the way, and the rpm at bout 3500 to 4000.

and when he starts passing you swerve over at him to make him **** his pants and slow down. if you do that then victory is yours!

My stock vert got walked by a modded WRX. It was fun though. All them streetracing dudes thought I had all kinds of mods. They said "That things stock?!?" lol He only had me by 2 cars and that was RIGHT off the launch. The AWD has an awesome launch!
