not always the case, when you downshift you're supposed to hit the gas when the clutch is in to bring the RPMs up to match the lower gear before letting out the clutch. The stick will go into gear much easier, esp the lower gears. it might be what you need; with the stock gears i could go into 2nd at 50mph no problem...

That sucks. Go buy a new tranny, slap it in their, go back and race him for slips.

Hey, there is 119K on my stang now. Anyway, I took it out today and tried the 'revving' thing you guys have been talking about....and dam it worked!!!!! I can downshift now! All I have to to is increase the rpms when I put in the clutch and I can downshift. yee ha. I just need to find that piece of crap hyundai and have a rematch.
