My friend has a wrecked 90 or 91 GT, 5.0 with T5... damaged left front fender and front facia... needs probably about 2500.00 to repair... I figure about $750.00 to $1000.00 ought to buy it.... your opinions please...

What's a clean one worth? Stock, no mods...

I'd rather save mysef the trouble, and the crappy car and look for a clean stock stand for 4k, if you can get it for 750 why the hell not i guess...

My other buddy needs/wants a 5.0GT and is able to do some body/mechnical repair himself... He's a youngster (my ex-girlfriend's son) on a strict budget so I though I might help him get the car as a project...

500.00 might be a more reasonable number...

I personally would be all over any 5.0, wrecked or not for $750. I picked up a real mutt that wasnt worth fixing and made over 2g's parting in out. So I guess I would buy it.. part it out and then put that money towards a nice starter stang.

Well crapola... my friend that has the car says it's hurt pretty bad... probably could not be fixed... Left front strut tower is pushed back and crumpled ... he says it's a donor car... at best...

He also has a 95 or 96 with a V6 that could be bought reasonalby... but the GT is the one by young protoge' really wanted..

put the gt 5.0 motor in the 95 or 96 v6 stang. just a thought. or keep looking. theres alot out there

Looked at the GT yesterday... my friend is correct.... it's a donor car now... the other 95 Mustang with a V6 is pretty clean, but needs the front nose facia replaced or repaired.

Oh well....

Yeah i would get it...If it runs good...Why not? It would help if you had someone that could do body work for cheap...
