don't put it on the balancer...if it a stock or high mileage one...the stress will cause it to walk on ya.


get a cheater pipe they will be a pain....

use a block of wood and that's it on the front hump of oil pan

Yeah, I'd be afraid I'd bend the crank or damage the balancer....

I put the piece of wood on the rear drain plus when I did mine and it didn't dent my pan. But every car is different just be careful and always watch for bending and such while jacking it up. Don't make and easy and cheap project to a long and expensive one.

I woudlnt put anything on the oil pan, espeically if your using that garbage cork gasket. Get a cherry picker, rent it or something. I rented mine for 30 bucks. Change both motor mounts if your going to be under the car..

What ever means you use to lift the engine just remember to "block" the engine with wood or something incase the jack fails.
