Where to start, car not getting any fuel?
 

So i just bought an 87 gt from a guy that just had the motor rebuilt and could never get the car started, he states that he cannot get any fuel to the motor. Anyway i havnt actually gotten to take a look at the car yet, i pick it up on friday but was wondering where i should start with this beast. any ideas would be appreciated, thx

theres a fuel pump emergency shut off switch in the trunk behind the plastic interior right by the latch start there

check the fuel pressure first

try to start it off starting fluid.

cheap and easy thing....CHANGE THE FUEL FILTER! always do that when purchasing a car, also, check to see if there is any power at the pump

Well I would first make sure the problem is its not getting any fuel before I'd replace anything.
